Hello lovely friends, it is beauty time again! Today, I am talking about my fragrance of the year, Giorgio Armani Si!
I was actually introduced to this in an odd way. There was a tiny sample of this fragrance in one of my Christmas stocking (which I think was a mistake, hah). I used the little sample that I had until it literally was dry. After that, I had to run out and get it. It is on the pricier side of perfumes, but perfume is something that I will definitely pay for. I use it all the time, a girl has to smell good.
I love that they market this fragrance for the “modern woman”. I personally identify as a modern woman, haha. It is definitely a fragrance that I have not smelled before. It is targeted toward an older crowd, but I got my choice of fragrances from my grandmother. She always smells fantastic, and I grew up using her perfume before we left the house. When I was at Ulta picking this out, the woman said it was a direct response to Lancome’s La Vie est Belle. Which I have used before, and enjoyed.
Notes: Blackcurrant, Freesia, Rose, Vanilla, Patchouli, Blond Woods, and Orcanox
This is a more sophisticated floral scent, and since I am starting to get up there in age, this is kind of fitting how I feel at the moment. I can smell this on my skin/clothes/hair the next day, so it clearly has some great lasting power. It definitely leans more toward a winter/fall scent, but because of the floral notes, I can still pull this off this time of year.
If you are in the market for a new fragrance, I highly recommend trying this one out. I am sure you can go to your local fragrance counter and ask for a sample. Wear it around for a few days, see how it reacts to you. Most fine fragrances are investment, so you don’t want to waste your money on one that does not work for you. Let me know what your favorite fragrance is, and if you have tried this, let me know your experiences with it!
