Like I have brought up before, I got a really weird skin irritation around December. It caused extremely dry skin, discoloration, and an extremely bumpy texture. I had been using all of the same skincare that I had been using, so it was extremely confusing. I was trying to do natural exfoliates like sugar scrubs to try and get rid of the top layer of skin, which helped slightly. After about a week, I remembered something I used earlier in the year to clear up my skin. After remembering what it was, I strolled on down to my local target, and picked it up for about 8 bucks. What is it? It is the Biore Deep Pore Cleanser. Why is it so great? Charcoal! Now, if you’re like me, and only learned what you know about makeup and skincare from Youtube, hold on! I’ll tell you! According to Biore, the claims is that it “deep cleans 2x better & naturally purifies”. While doing some solid research on it, the New York Daily News says that charcoal absorbs up to 200 times its weight in impurities. Once charcoal is met with oxygen, it is commonly used to treat things such as poison, abdominal infections, and nausea. Talk about being useful! Onto the product! The texture is almost gel like, and it appears like it has little micro-beads that help exfoliate the skin, but….not really. They just disappear once you apply the product to your face. Honestly, it is just a cleanser, and does not advertise to be a scrub. After application, this leaves this amazing and refreshing coolness to your face, which in my weird mind, makes me feel like it actually makes a difference. This product is available in mostly all drugstore/superstore retail locations, and is definitely worth checking out. Let me know if you use it! We all want great skin, give it a shot!
