Spring Beauty Goals

Hello my beautiful internet people! I have mentioned a couple of times that spring is all about reinventing yourself, or at least refreshing yourself at the very least. Since I get about a million emails a day from Sephora, I decided to take a gander, and see what is going on in the beautiful world of makeup and skincare.

If you ask anyone around me what my life is about, it is definitely skincare right now. Maybe this is 27 sneaking up on me, or my extreme love for sweet tea that will always take place over water, I am not sure. I have been eyeing the Glam Glow Gravitymud for quite a while, and I think I may have to bite the bullet and finally get this one. I want to look like a silver majestic alien! I live in the south, if you did not know, and it is going to be real hot, real soon. The Tony Moly Egg Tightening Cooling Pack sounds pretty cool. Not only is the the packaging pretty darn cute, but it also cools? Double plus in my books.

Summer for me is all about skin. We want to look dewy, but also like we have the best skin on earth. While I am a huge fan of my Nars foundation which I have been super loyal to for like…five years? Yeah. True love. The Tarte Rainforest of the Sea foundation sounds pretty cool, and the bottle is so adorable. (I am clearly a sucker for packaging) I get so excited every time I read the details of this product. 20% water? Fighting signs of early aging? Helps reduce redness and dry skin? Those are all of my problems! Take my money now! Because I am a skin nerd, and I love the Naked range (see concealer review here), I must try Naked Skin One & Done Hybrid Complexion Perfector. This would be something I would use when I want coverage, but not full. Both of these have SPF, which I am notorious for forgetting. Anything that says blur, you can sign me up. I know, it is the same product….but once again…packaging, man! We all know and love the Yves Saint Laurent Touche Eclat, but they came out with a bunch of quirky slogans as skins for their product, and it is just really cute. I am definitely not a morning person, so this speaks to me on an emotional level.

I don’t even think I need to say anything about the Anastasia Beverly Hills Glow Kit…do I? Nope. Every time I try and get it, they always have the darker version, and as someone who is insanely pale…does not work for me. I will get it soon, and my life will be complete. Your girl is a huge fan of a drag queen, and I was always beyond confused as to why they had all of that stuff on their face, but now I understand baking. Laura Mercier Invisible Loose Powder has so many great uses, and if this is one of the uses, sign me up. I want my under eyes to be flawless and pore-less, and whatever else it does! My favorite Youtube people swear by it, so I might as well try it out too! Let’s talk about perfume. Granted, I recently just bought the perfume that I am loving, but it is definitely a fragrance for fall or winter, so we need to liven up our game. Dolce by Dolce and Gabbana seems like a pretty good place to start. I love musky/floral scents, and according to the description, I am totally going to have to investigate this more.

What are your spring beauty must haves? Have you tried any of these products? Until next time (also, happy friday!)

  1. I love all the items you chose! I’ve tried a few of the glamglow mud masks and the only one I really loved was thirstymud. If you do get it, try to buy the smaller version from Sephora for $20!

    1. I know, I always see the small ones! They look so cute, haha. Next time I pop in I will see if they have the smaller version!
